I have often felt a strong urge to help others in any way I can, to make some sort of difference in this crazy chaotic world. I have found two amazing friends that have the same pull. Together, we have created Pretty Good People! We basically want to do as much volunteer work, research, and good deeds as we can, and blog/video our experiences in hopes of helping people who'd like to make a difference decide which opportunities speak to them. (was that a run-on sentence?) So...we have created our blog, and attended our first volunteer day with Habitat for Humanity. My camera died early on and the only video device we had was Jenny's iphone, but at least we got some footage! Check out the video Jenny made!
I'm very excited for what is to come and hope you all will join us in our mission to make the world a better place!

Sounds like a great mission! I think a lot of people out there feel like they'd like to do something to help out but sometimes don't really know how to or through what organization. Looks like you had fun with Habitat for Humanity!
